This all day class covers the first level of Heidi’s Free Motion, Feathers and Rulers Education.
FREE MOTION: Learn to stipple the right way! Learn the “formula” of free motion quilting that will help you quilt ANY design you desire. You will also learn: loops, pebbles, paisley and swirls.
FEATHERS: Learn the anatomy of a feather and how to maneuver the plumes through the inside and outside corners. Heidi has developed a formula for feathers that is easy to follow and remember.
RULERS: Learn how to use a straight ruler to mark and prepare your quilt top for ruler placement, crosshatch, accurately stitch in the ditch, and pivot and rotate the ruler for precise corners.
