The threads are magically moved through the machine via one simple step on the foot control. So both hands remain free. The L 890 Quilters Edition automatically sets the loopers in the correct position for the air threader – no turning the handwheel or searching for the right position. Simply press the foot control and you’re off!

Overlock/Combostitch Foot #C11

For general sewing projects with overlock and coverstitches. The markings on the presser foot are practical guiding aids.

Clear Overlock/Combostitch Foot #C27 (L 890)

The transparent standard presser foot is suitable for general sewing and provides a good view of the seam and fabric for more precise sewing, e.g. with corners and curves.

Cover-/Chainstitch Foot #C13 (L 890)

The Cover-/Chainstitch Foot facilitates fabric feed while chain stitching. Perfect for seams along even surfaces or sewing in flat fabric.

Coverstitch/Compensating Foot #C12 (L 890)

Ideal for all cover- and chainstitch sewing along unilateral fabric thicknesses such as seams, hems, bindings and decorative sewing. Markings for the needles allow to guide the fabric precisely.

Shirring Foot #C24 (L 890)

The Shirring Foot #C24 is perfect for shirring or gathering lightweight and soft single-layer fabrics.

Decorative Thread Spool Pin (L 8 Series)

This horizontal spool pin for the L 8 Series holds parallel-wound flanged spools and conventional household spools of decorative and metallic thread.

Slide-on Table (L 8 Series)

The Slide-on Table is used to enlarge the sewing area to the left of the sewing area. It enables easier guidance of large fabrics and a better view of the sewing project.

Freearm Cover (L 8 Series)

The Freearm Cover is used to cover the opening of the freearm to get a consistent working surface in the sewing area. At the same time, the stitch plate remains easily accessible.

BERNINA Tweezers

BERNINA Tweezers allow you to thread your overlocker with ease and remove any remaining pieces of thread from the machine.

Threading Wire (L 8 Series)

If the air threader is out of work or a looper pipe blocked, the wire can be used for manually threading of loopers, when necessary.

Brush (L 8 Series)

This tool helps to remove dust and lint from the looper and stitch-plate area.

Screwdriver

The Screwdriver makes changing needles simple.

Spool Stabilizer for (L 8 Series)

The Spool Stabilizer prevents spools and cones of various sizes from vibrating at any sewing speed.

The OL/CS Compensating Tool makes it easy to sew over cross seams and trims of different heights.

Cut-offs Bin (L 8 Series)

The Cut-offs Bin keeps the sewing table tidy. Simply click it on to the looper cover and dispose of fabric cut-offs immediately after cutting.

Overlocker Trolley

The practical Trolley is very sturdy and perfectly suited when you are en route.

Right seam guide (L 8 Series)

The right seam guide helps to guide the fabric and ensures that it is cut evenly.

Right/Left Seam Guides in Shaft (L 8 Series)

The seam guide is fixed in the shank of the presser foot. The seam guide on the left side of the presser foot is mainly used for sewing overlock stitches. The seam guide on the right side of the presser foot can be used for coverstitches as well as for chainstitches.

Needle Threader/inserter (L 8 Series)

The Needle Threader/inserter makes it easy to hold, insert or remove as well as thread overlocker needles.
