AccuQuilt GO! Square 8½" Die
Quickly cut accurate 8½-inch fabric squares for 8-inch finished quilt blocks, appliqué backgrounds, simple square quilts, and more.
Cuts One 8½" Square
The cut square includes a ¼-inch seam allowance and finishes at approximately 8 inches when sewn into a quilt project.
Make fast, accurate fabric squares with the AccuQuilt GO! Square 8½" Die. Squares are an essential foundation for countless quilting projects, and this convenient die helps eliminate repetitive measuring, ruler slipping, and uneven rotary-cut edges.
The die cuts one precise 8½-inch square that finishes at 8 inches after sewing. Built-in ¼-inch seam allowances make the pieces easy to align and piece, helping quilt blocks come together quickly and consistently.
Use this versatile shape for traditional square quilts, background blocks, appliqué foundations, large-scale patchwork, charity quilts, pillows, table toppers, and projects that highlight favorite focal prints. It is also an excellent way to turn larger scraps, fat quarters, and Layer Cake fabrics into ready-to-sew quilt pieces.
The die can cut multiple fabric layers at once and works with a variety of materials, including quilting cotton, batik, flannel, felt, wool, fleece, and Cuddle fabric.

- Cut 9-inch strips across the width of the fabric.
- Fanfold the strips into approximately 9-inch sections.
- Place the fabric directly over the square blade.
- Place the required cutting mat over the fabric.
