Janome Free Motion Quilting Closed Toe Foot QC

A closed-toe free-motion quilting foot designed to help guide fabric smoothly while protecting the needle area from lace, loose threads, and fabrics that may catch on an open-toe foot.

Designed for Compatible Janome 9 mm Machines

The enclosed front helps hold fabric in front of the needle and reduces the chance of lace, loose fibers, or textured materials catching during free-motion quilting.

Create smooth curves, flowing lines, stippling, and detailed quilted designs with the Janome Free Motion Quilting Closed Toe Foot QC. This specialty presser foot is designed for free-motion quilting on compatible Janome sewing and embroidery machines with 9 mm stitch capability.

```
The closed circular toe surrounds the needle area and helps keep fabric controlled as it moves freely beneath the foot. It is especially useful when quilting lace, loose-weave fabrics, textured materials, appliqué edges, and other surfaces that could catch on an open-toe quilting foot.
Once the machine is placed into free-motion mode and the feed dogs are lowered or disengaged, the fabric can be guided in any direction to create custom quilting patterns. The compact foot provides support close to the needle while still allowing a clear view of the stitching area.
Why Choose a Closed-Toe Foot?
```

A closed-toe quilting foot provides additional protection and fabric control around the needle. It is a helpful alternative to an open-toe foot when working with materials that may catch, snag, or shift.

  • Helps hold fabric in front of the needle
  • Reduces snagging on lace and loose threads
  • Offers consistent support around the stitching area
  • Useful for dense and closely spaced quilting
  • Provides added needle-area protection
```
Helpful Quilting Tips
```
  • Confirm compatibility with your complete machine model before ordering.
  • Select the machine’s free-motion quilting mode when available.
  • Lower or disengage the feed dogs according to the machine instructions.
  • Use quilting gloves for improved fabric control.
  • Move the fabric at a consistent pace to create even stitches.
  • Match the machine speed to the speed of your fabric movement.
  • Test the thread tension and foot height on a quilt sandwich first.
