Professional Overlock Results Made Easy
The BERNINA L 660 trims, sews, and finishes fabric edges in one smooth step. It is ideal for garment sewing, activewear, home decor, quilting accents, and everyday sewing projects that need a durable, professional-looking finish. With 2, 3, and 4-thread stitch options, this machine gives you the flexibility to create strong seams, stretchy seams, flatlock details, narrow seams, rolled hems, picot stitches, blanket stitches, and more.
One-Step BERNINA Air Threader
Threading the loopers is fast and simple with the One-Step BERNINA Air Threader. The L 660 allows you to thread in any sequence, and the needle stop up function automatically moves the loopers into the correct threading position. Just place the threads over the air threader, press the foot control, and the threads are drawn in by air.
Smooth, Quiet, and Powerful Performance
The L 660 features a powerful yet quiet DC motor that delivers steady needle piercing power at any speed. Sew quickly when finishing long seams, or slow down for stitch-by-stitch control around corners, curves, and detailed work. With a maximum sewing speed of up to 1,200 stitches per minute, the L 660 is built for efficient, reliable sewing.
Comfort Features for Better Sewing
The built-in BERNINA Free Hand System with knee lifter allows you to raise the presser foot and lower the feed dogs while keeping both hands on your fabric. The swing-out presser foot provides easy access to the needle area, while the built-in needle threader helps make setup faster and more comfortable. The slide-on table is included for larger projects and added support.
Precise Stitch Control
The L 660 includes adjustable stitch length, adjustable differential feed, adjustable cutting width, thread tension control, and mtc Micro Thread Control. These features allow you to fine-tune your stitches for different fabrics and thread combinations, helping prevent wavy seams, puckering, and uneven edges.
